Essential Vocabulary
- Decimal=fraction whose denominator is 10, 100, 1000 and powers of ten
- Fraction=ratio of numbers, denominator may not be 0,with a part [Numerator]and total value(number of pieces to equal one whole)[Denominator]
- Equivalent Fractions=Fractions with different numbers but represent the same part of a whole, 1/2=5/10
- Like units=Same fraction denominators (number of pieces that equal a whole), 1/3 and 2/3
